LUNG CANCER SCREENING 4:00-6:00 pm | Meal Provided August 28 The KDH Cancer Treatment Center is hosting a Lung Cancer Screening program from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28. A meal will be provided, along with Informational Booths and Pulmonary (Lung) Function Testing. ELIGIBILITY (Per Centers for Medicaid and Medicare guidelines) Be between 55 and 77 years of age; .Be a current cigarette smoker OR have quit within the past 15 years; Have a 30-pack years or greater history of cigarette smoking; Have no signs/symptoms of lung cancer; . Have not had a lung screening or chest CT within the past 12 months. Medicare will cover the cost of the screening for Medicare patients who meet all of the eligibility requirements. KDH will work with patients who DESIGNATED Lung Cancer Screening Center have commerical insurance to determine coverage and co-payments Self-pay (no insurance) patients may register for a fee of $88.
